How often should you shut down your PC?
It depends on your system's specs. If you're running on a newer, more powerful machine, once a week might suffice. But if your system is older or less powerful, shutting down every 3 days is a good rule of thumb.

Make sure you close all running applications completely and save your files/work to avoid losing them
Click the Windows icon at the bottom-left corner of your screen.
Select "Power." You'll see a menu with options.
